Job Description

A Fortune 100 client in the retail industry is seeking a Process Engineer to support their aseptic processes. Below is a breakdown of the daily responsibilities:

- Serve as a key contributor in shaping Manufacturing’s aseptic product strategy.
- Develop comprehensive engineering and design plans for aseptic food products, including dairy, juices, blended items, viscous concentrates, and pastes.
- Optimize, troubleshoot, and maintain aseptic manufacturing lines to improve product quality, operational productivity, and workplace safety.
- Design conceptual process and packaging solutions to support both existing and new aseptic product initiatives.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously, managing resources, budgets, schedules, equipment, and materials.
- Assess and recommend current and emerging equipment and technologies to enhance aseptic operations.
- Conduct process analyses of existing technologies and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
- Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of SQF Systems.
- Must be able to work in environments containing ingredients or products with known food allergens.

Required Skills & Experience

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (chemical engineering preferred)
- 4+ years Food & Beverage manufacturing
- Aseptic (Sterile) processing experience

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Certification in Aseptic Processes
- Maximo experience
- Capital project management experience >$1MM
- Knowledge of other liquid food and beverage processing technologies including extended shelf-life (ESL), ultra clean and hot fill
