Job Description
A growing waste management company is looking for a Landfill Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam, OH at their location that processes 10,000 tons of waste a day. This individual will report into the Director of Landfill and work alongside consultants for the organization, surveyors, well field techs, executive leadership and landfill administration.
You will be responsible for compliance of the landfill, ensuring third parties are completing the work outsourced to them, air, water and soil quality and overall safety of the landfill. As the organization continues to grow, you will partner with the director of the landfill and rest of the team to come with up with innovative ideas to make them best in class in the industry.
This is a permanent role and requires being onsite 5-6 days a week with early morning hours at their landfill in Amsterdam, OH.
Compensation:
$90,000 to $110,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
-2+ years of civil or environmental engineering experience in the field
-Degree in civil or environmental engineering
-Experience in waste management or oil and gas industry
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-AutoCAD experience
-Engineer in Training Certification
