Job Description
A DoD client in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a system admin to help support their Airforce client at a new facility.
This role supports the government cyber lead and provides cybersecurity support for advanced software-intensive technologies to include agile manufacturing, conditioned-based maintenance, augmented reality/virtual reality, cloud-based infrastructure and services, and robotics.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in monitoring and maintaining Windows and Linux environments.
Support system administration tasks, including user account management, permissions, and basic troubleshooting.
Help implement cybersecurity measures under guidance, including patch management, access controls, and Security+ best practices.
Monitor system performance and report anomalies or issues to senior staff.
Assist with backups, software updates, and routine system maintenance.

Required Skills & Experience
High School diploma or equivalent.
Security+ certification or equivalent DoD certification.
Basic understanding of computer operating systems, networks, and IT fundamentals.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
1+ Year Professional Experience in an IT related role
