Job Description

As a Controls Engineer, you will support and improve automation systems by coding for continuous improvement projects, troubleshooting machines with a strong understanding of PLC programming, and collecting data for integration with IT systems. You will work extensively with vision and scanning systems, provide production support within your area of responsibility, and offer routine IT systems support. Additionally, you will develop specifications, designs, and programs for continuous improvement activities, focusing on automation rather than electrical design. The candidate is directly responsible for the continuous improvement and support of equipment either in the machining or assembly areas of the facility, with a focus on production support and troubleshooting. This position will provide basic IT support for the facility and is principally technical in nature, requiring a high degree of independent judgment, problem-solving ability, interpersonal communication, and initiative.
