Insight Global is seeking a Logistics Compliance Specialist in the Cincinnati, OH area for a direct hire opportunity. This resource will be responsible for all aspects of the international logistics operations in Ohio. You’ll be focused on physical movement, storage, and delivery of finished products between global suppliers and customers. Focusing on minimizing costs and meeting delivery deadlines will be part of the day to day. You’ll collaborate with leadership to formulate international logistics plans and coordinate product deliveries. (Drayage, trans-load, warehouse). Providing quote rates, calculate shipment and storage costs based on transit mode, weight, and volume. Other responsibilities include communicating with transportation providers, customers, and internal associates to provide shipment updates. You’ll be handling import and export clearance and tariff classification for customs brokers, forwarders, consolidators and carriers.

Required Skills & Experience
-5+ years of international supply chain/logistics experience
-Experience with import and export in the logistics field
-International VAT recovery and or external transit declarations or aerospace/aviation industry experience
-Managing order fulfillment, warehousing, transportation of finished goods to customers
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Certified International Trade Logistics (CITLS)
-In-depth knowledge of international supply chains, CBP Customs & Border Patrol and compliance/FMC/PGA
