Insight Globals client is looking for a long-term contractor Power BI developer. They will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Power BI. This includes building data models, creating reports and dashboards, and ensuring data accuracy and reliability. They also collaborate with stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and manage the overall BI system. They will also be responsible for designing and implementing efficient data models in Power BI to support business analysis and reporting needs. They will be developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service, integrating data from diverse sources such as databases, cloud platforms, and flat files. This individual will utilize DAX for advanced calculations and SQL for data querying and transformation. Ensure optimal performance of Power BI solutions through tuning and best practices. As well as collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deploy solutions, while maintaining data accuracy, security, and compliance. They will also provide technical documentation, user support, and troubleshooting, and stayed current with the latest Power BI features and updates.

Hands on experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, including data modeling, performance tuning, etc
Experience with DBT for building and maintaining modular, version-controlled data transformation pipelines
