Position Summary:
One of our largest clients in the logistics industry is seeking a Senior Software Developer for a few projects they will be working on through the end of the year. This role will last around 6-9 months, with the possibility of an extension. This candidate will be part of a companywide Oracle application upgrade, set to be complete by the end of the year, but tasks and maintenance items will continue into 2026.
Activities for the position:
- Identify all queries and data models across all planning system applications
- Validate, update, and fine tune queries as required to work with source system (OTM)
- Enhance applications to support multiple versions of OTM (existing and new) at the same time during new OTM version rollout
- Create data connection and update data models
- Update application logic to support multiple SORs
- Update all planning systems applications that create PenskeGlogXml, if needed
- Create new projects and update DevOps, setup new CI/CD pipelines
- Ensure all the changes are tested in dev environments and deployed in CERT/QA environments
- Fix bugs reported by QA team or operations
