Job Description

A well-known Government supporting company in the Dayton OH area is seeking a Software Developer. This person will be a part of a diverse and skilled technical team, to write and test software in high level languages, and to develop and test signal processing algorithms from concept to implementation. They will be involved with the creation of new code, maintaining current code as well as assisting in some design work with the team. They will be apart of the full process from development to testing in a simulated environment to taking part in the flight test to then integrating into the hardware.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering or a similar field
7+ years of c++ backend software development
Experience supporting the DoD
Ability to obtain a clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Masters Degree

Experience developing in Linux ( highly preferred since they are mainly developing in Linux) If they don't have experience someone who is a quick learner and willing to pick this up

Developing software to communicate and exchange information (e.g. commands, status, data) with hardware devices, sensors, and/or systems

MATLAB/Simulink experience

Autonomy research- HUGE PLUS

Modeling & Simulation experience

Air Force background

UAV simulation experience

Security Clearance
