Job Description

An employer in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Depowder Technician to join their team. This individual will be responsible for performing printed part post-processing (depowdering) and operating equipment on a daily basis as builds are completed. This role includes conducting routine inspections and limited maintenance on assigned equipment, preparing layouts of parts for inspections and build mapping, and assessing parts for deformations, damage, and cracks.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform printed part post-processing (depowdering) and operate equipment daily as builds are completed.
Conduct routine daily/weekly inspections and limited maintenance on assigned equipment.
Prepare layouts of parts for inspections and build mapping per requirements.
Assess parts for deformations, damage, cracks, and other criteria described within training.
Handle parts at the depowder station.
Perform other tasks within scope as projects adjust for customer needs and knowledge of tasks increases.

Required Skills & Experience

-2+ years experience as a quality inspector, materials technician or related field
Familiarity with inspections, physically looking and inspecting parts rather than working on the machines.
Ability to arrange parts for further analysis, including destructive analysis and documentation.
Handling parts and understanding reporting issues.
Strong attention to detail.
