We are looking for a Data Architect for the IT Finance Team. In this role. If you consider data as a strategic asset, evangelize the value of good data and insights, enjoy working with teams, have a deep understanding of business intelligence and analytic tools and capabilities and love building relationships, this role is for you.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and manage big data infrastructure across IT Finance.
Respond to internal client inquiries and troubleshoot any issues with the big data platform.
Ensure best-in-class quality across data sourcing, profiling, standardization, mapping, validation, documentation.
Plan and execute multiple big data analytic projects at once.
Perform other duties as assigned.
IT & Banking Background working on regulatory projects or working with a lot of data (moving data into a warehouse, implemented a new GL system, or implementing something that needs a lot of data from different sources)
- Must be able to query.
- Must have experience working with financial data/loans/how bankers work with customers. Multiple workstreams will be asking for the same data.
- Knows how to classify & document data & Data fields.
- Excellent communication sometimes will have to get the business together & SMEs together they will own this form.
- SQL skills they have to be able to query the warehouse to validate.
- Understands snowflake & the Datawarehouse understands how to go to an IT mapping document & see if it needs moved to our current applications today (are we using it today).
