Insight Global is looking for a Test Engineer. Candidates will perform verification and validation of our Advanced Control Firmware. The system is comprised of multiple data center products, including thermal unit controllers, communication cards, communication gateways, and on-premise monitoring solutions. Work will include test planning, creation of test cases, and test execution. Candidates will collaborate with other engineering groups, team leads, and product management to ensure software meets product requirements and create product test plans and test-cases from product requirements. They will analyze, troubleshoot, and debug test software and product interactions as well as develop software to automate test tasks. Candidate may develop test network environments for devices under test while documenting technical issues and solutions.
Suggest fixes and improvements and report activities, project status, and plans to team lead and management.
Salary: $90,000-$115,000

- Experience with UI testing, test automation development, requirements review, test planning
- Experience in writing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test reports
- Experience with defect tracking systems and test case management
