WebSphere Administrator

Insight Global is looking to hire a WebSphere Administrator for one of our largest insurance clients to be on a hybrid schedule. As a WebSphere Administrator, you will be responsible for the management and administration of the WebSphere application servers. You will be assisting with large volume support tickets, fielding production support issues, and communicating / assisting with developers to meet success criteria. You will be responsible for the installation and configuration, troubleshooting, security management, documentation, and collaboration of WebSphere environments. You will be working alongside other WebSphere admis / developers, working on a team of 6 individuals.

- 5+ years experience in WebSphere

o Working with large volume servers in enterprise environment

- Linux / Unix admin skills - RedHat preferred

- Proficient in Linux automation (any scripting tool)

- Experience with IBM HTTP Server / WebSphere Plugin

- Experience integrating with MQ / Database backends and troubleshooting

- Willingness to work on a 24/7 support rotating schedule

- Docker / Kubernetes

- Experience with certificate management and SSL

- Liberty experience
