Job Description

A company in the Cincinnati area is looking for a Order Entry Specialist to join the team. They are responsible for online order entry, administrative duties such as answering the front door and phone, filing, and customer service duties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The following duties cover the main elements of the position:

Process online orders received via email and enter them into QuickBooks
Answer the front door, direct customers, vendors and visitors to the proper person, and receive any mail or packages
When answering calls make sure the request is forwarded to the correct person, if taking a message, it must be complete and accurate
Develop relationships with customers
File all necessary documents for orders once processed
Reporting and maintaining effective communications with management on market opportunities.
Communicate with suppliers for information regarding pricing, orders, deliveries, and shipments

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 2 years of successful customer service or inside sales experience (railroad industry or technical background preferred)
Strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, QB or similar)
