Data Monetization Consultant (Part Time)

A client in the Cincinnati, OH area is looking for a part time Data Monetization Expert/Consultant to join their team. The client is in the school transportation industry and has sites all throughout the US and Canada. The client is interested in finding ways to monetize their data. They sit on top of a lot of data (routes, maintenance, telematics, video, etc.) that they think could have a lot of potential uses. The client is seeking an individual that is an expert in this space - understands data marketplaces, what data is valuable and who would be interested in it, what possible pricing/revenue models would be, and how to package data up for selling. The client needs to have someone that's done this type of work before (actually taken data to market and made money off of it). Overall, the client is looking for someone to help us understand the market and build a strategy to make it happen.

10+ years experience in a similar role
High proficiency in fundamental SQL and demonstrated skills in handling terabyte size datasets, diving into data to discover hidden patterns and using visualization tools ((e.g. Tableau, PowerBI) to present results.
Experience with statistical software (e.g. R, Python).
Experience building data science models (Regression, Decision Trees, K-Means, etc.). Knowledge of ML and risk control field a plus.
Experience setting a long-term Data/AI product vision and delivering incrementally
