A large bank/financial client based in Cincinnati, Ohio is seeking a Backend Java Developer for a contract through the end of the year with possibility for extensions. This position DOES requires them to be ONSITE 4-5x a week. This individual will be a member of an agile squad, responsible for integrating new solutions and capabilities into their current internal application that is focused on customer disputes. They will adhere to practices and standards, set by communities of practice, and contributes to a culture of continuous improvement.

4+ years of Java Development experience (must have used Java 8 or newer) in Spring boot / Spring framework.
Experience with one of the following IDEs: Eclipse, IntelliJ, and/or Visual Studio
Experience working on Linux/Unix platforms.
Git or Github for version control
3+ years of SQL and relational databases - Ability to write database queries to pull data
Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge around APIs security model, building, testing
