An employer in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a Medical Assistant for a contract to hire opportunity. This person will be supporting the internal medicine (18+) floor. The MA will be working 1 on 1 with a MD providing clinical care and/or supervising care in collaboration with physicians and other health care team member in meeting patient/family needs. The MA will be responsible for patients for primary care related reasons, as well as for physicals, blood draws, vaccines, and acute care. Most of this will include rooming patients, taking vitals, drawing blood, administering vaccines, charting and checking the clinical in basket.
The pay rate ranges from $16.50-21/hr. based off years of experience and certification.
