An employer is seeking Mortgage Closer for a contract opportunity. This closer will be joining a large bank out of the Cincinnati, OH area and the candidate can work fully remote. On a day to day basis they will be responsible for the preparation of mortgage loan files according to bank, regulatory and investor guidelines by gathering the necessary documents and information within designated time frames. They will also communicate with customers, clients, staff, realtors, brokers, counsel, title companies, etc. to respond to inquiries, resolve problems and obtain any additional documentation required to complete the loan file. Outside of that they will ensure compliance with bank, regulatory and investor requirements and quality customer service standards and coordinate the closing and funding of assigned loan packages; calculates final closing costs and disburses funds.

2-3+ years experience in Mortgage Closing (Jumbo loans, FHA, VA, Conventional, etc.)
Ability to work remote in EST or CST
Experience within a Loan Origination platform: net oxygen cloud (WGS is the vendor), encompass, empower
Working knowledge within the compliance side of mortgages and comfortable speaking with title companies
