An employer is seeking an Information Security Analyst in the Cincinnati, OH area to sit remotely. This individual will contribute to an existing team of analysts, working closely with leadership on various security operations initiatives to meet security standards that are dependent on current needs. This person will serve more as a security generalist for the team, primarily providing operational day-to-day support. They could be helping mentor students/provide direction on risk management, information security controls, and help within the full security systems life cycle for software. This role is very hands on, and a large portion of it will be responding to security tickets via their Service Now ticketing system. The client is also rolling out a new password management solution for all employees. This individual must be extremely motivated and eager to learn the fundamentals of security and understand the importance of confidentiality, integrity, and responsibility within security.

2-4 years of professional experience working within IT security
Understanding of various security concepts (endpoint security, multi-factor authentication, antivirus, etc.)
Experience with Duo MFA and Qualys for Vulnerability Management
Exceptional customer service experience
Experience with Trellix, CrowdStrike, Splunk, Service Now
Risk management experience
Higher education experience
