The Capital Markets group is expanding banking, sales and trading capabilities, and is seeking a hands-on data analytics analyst to develop data frameworks and interactive visualized analytics.
This position is for a junior analytics developer for the creation of new, and support of existing, SQL and Python code and datasets for the Capital Markets businesses, which include Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Commodities, Foreign Exchange, and Corporate Finance banking groups. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, resourceful, and has a strong background in applied database coding/programming using SQL, Python, scripting tools, and visualized analytics software (Tableau, Streamlit, PowerBI). Candidates should have an avid interest in the financial markets and working with others to identify trends and insights from large dataset.

o Bachelor's Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Technology, Mathematics, or related fields
o Academic background in programming and database related coding skills
o FINRA Series 99 or 7 License (or ability to obtain with 180 days of start)
o 5+ years of relevant work experience (including college) SQL, python, streamlit, Tableau
o Strong analytical and problem solving skills with working knowledge of SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and interactive visualization tools (Tableau, Streamlit, PowerBI)
o Experience with AWS cloud environments, APIs, large datasets and files in S3, machine learning, real-time data handling and visualizations, comfort working with structured data stored in RDBMS or unstructured data, Kafka and/or messaging technologies
o Experience using git (bitbucket), Jenkins / other CICD tools
o Basic understanding or strong interest in capital markets and the role of analytics in driving capital markets business
o Strong team & communication skills, deliver outstanding results while demonstrating utmost in personal integrity and professional comportment.
