A client of Insight Global's is looking for a Cost Estimator to join their team out of Wright Patterson AFB. This individual will be supporting a financial team within the program, and making sure that the overall budget The role requires the contractor to manage, oversee, or perform scientific work involving the application of mathematical, statistical, and other scientific methods to analyze management problems and provide alternative solutions. The contractor must demonstrate competence in rigorous scientific inquiry and analysis, specifically for IT Management Information Systems (MIS) programs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Utilize various cost estimating methods to assess the impact of factors on weapon system costs.
2. Identify the most appropriate phase of the budgetary cycle for initiating new programs.
3. Analyze all cost elements for a project of limited scope.
4. Evaluate contractor financial data using EVM measures of merit to determine program viability.
5. Utilize the ACEIT Tool Suite to perform program office estimates, mandatory for information systems cost estimator positions.
6. Apply analytical processes, including problem setup, background research, data collection and reduction, data analysis, mathematical formulation, and drawing conclusions.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience:
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and ability to perform tasks independently within the technical discipline.
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot situations within program/project guidelines.
- Experience using the Automated Cost Estimating and Integrated Tool (ACEIT) Suite.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and at least three years of experience in the respective technical discipline, three of which must be in the DoD.
- OR, seven years of directly related experience with proper certifications, five of which must be in the DoD.
