Job Description

Insight Global is looking for entry level Engineers/Designers located in Cincinnati, OH This person will be supporting projects relating to distribution design for their end clients within the utilities industry. This projects will include engineering initiatives for lighting, joint use, and market ready initiatives. Design work will pertain replacements of poles and single target work. This person must have an eagerness and ability to learn new skills relating to design layouts and software tools for the creation of these designs.

Required Skills & Experience

At least an Associates degree, trade school, or High school diploma

Some type of experience related to the engineering field, or strong want to start a career within the engineering field

0-5 years of work experience in an engineering related field

Some form of engineering software or work/school related experience: AutoCAD, CAD, blue prints, schematics, Solidworks, GIS, fielding, technician, design, troubleshooting, joint use, telecommunications, electrician, journeyman, drafter, draftsmen etc.

Coachable eager to learn and pick up on new skills Hardworking with an outgoing personality

Ability to be a problem solver and aptitude to be forward-thinking

Passion or interest in engineering design work relating to the distribution industry

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Distribution/Telecom/Utilities/Field work Experience

Microstation experience
