Job Description

Provides lead financial support for assigned business process and/or systems within a business unit which includes but is not limited to the following:

* Maintains, monitors, updates assigned business process and/or systems.

* Research complex problems and acts independently to resolve.

* Analyzes existing business process and or systems and determines technical or procedural improvements and implements changes.

* Develops and provides process documentation for users and training purposes.

* Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems supported.

* Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.

* Develops and generates specialized and ad hoc reports.

* Analyzes reports and makes recommendations for improvements in processes and /or systems.

* Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management, and other users.



Primary Responsibilities:

* Work with the BMO team and departmental managers to manage financial processes within infrastructure.

* Use statistical methods to interpret data, analyze results, and provide ongoing reporting.

* Use data to create models that depict trends in portfolio financials and operational effectiveness.

* Identify and recommend new ways to meet the BMO financial processes, problem resolution, and mitigate risk.

* Facilitate meetings to review data findings and metrics.

* Develop and update documentation to support new / changes to procedures.

* Develop, generate, maintain, and monitor reports and files.

* Consolidate and create monthly decks providing financial status, and for operational reviews.

* Collaborate with the finance team regarding infrastructure financials.

* Works under the supervision and leadership of a BMO Delivery Manager.

Required Skills & Experience

* Ability to self-start and show strong self-management skills.

* At least five years' experience of financial knowledge and aptitude preferably within the banking industry.

* Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word.

* Must have advanced skillset in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

* Must have experience and skills in Tableau development.

* Ability to schedule and negotiate with end-users to achieve desired results through stakeholder engagement and project management.

* Experience communicating with senior and executive management.

* Knowledge of statistics and experience analyzing datasets

* Ability to collect, form, analyze, and disseminate information with accuracy through hyper organizational skills and attention to detail to improve the effectiveness of the department and organization.

* Ability to work up to 50 hours a week when needed.
