An employer in the greater Cincinnati, OH area is seeking an Engineering Document Control Specialist to assist with the Mechanical Engineering department. This company is a leader in made-to-order machined and heat-tread parts & components. This Engineering Specialist will be assisting with the increased work load of the mechanical engineering department and helping with document control of CAD files & the larger CAD library, helping re-work manufacturing prints into modernized CAD files, managing bills of materials, and other engineering operations tasks to support the business. This team uses a PLM tool called Bluestar for document & project management, however any similar ERP or PLM tool will suffice. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years supporting an engineering team, and will have the opportunity to move into an engineering position. This role will be fully onsite in the Sharonville, OH office for the 6 months to become acclimated, with the option to work hybrid remote (onsite 3 days/week, remote 2 days/week) after 6 months.

- 3 years of experience in an engineering dept. (mechanical ideally)
- CAD knowledge (3D required)
- Ability to read manufacturing prints (they will be helping rework manufacturing prints into CAD files)
- Associates degree or equivalent engineering related certifications
- Experience with document control, managing CAD files/CAD library, bills of materials, and other engineering operations support
