Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
* Perform routine IT related maintenance by schedule (monitor, health check, update)
* Asset tracking review and physical inventory
* Participate in cross-departmental technology related projects
* Set up accounts and workstations
* Create and configure New Virtual Servers
* Manage Wireless APs
Scope is to support the IT operations of the manufacturing plant. This includes some basic level system administration task, network connectivity support, and supporting end user IT equipment including PCs, scanners, printers, and other mobile devices
Required Skills & Experience
Must Have:
* 6+ years of professional experience as an IT analyst in the automotive manufacturing industry
* Management of VMWARE or ESX systems
* Experience supporting Windows, Unix or Linux servers and PCs
* Network connectivity including routing, switching, or wireless support.
* Microsoft Technologies (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Exchange\O365)
* ServiceNow or other help desk ticket systems
* Strong background in operating systems, networking technologies, office information systems, relational database architectures, internet and intranet development
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
* Background in automotive manufacturing
* Experience with ERP/MRP solutions. SAP experience within the automotive is highly desirable
Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell, Windows Batch, Bash) would be an asset
