A client of Insight Global is looking for a Payment Operations Specialist to sit out of their headquarters in Dublin, OH. The Payment Operations Specialist will have a deep working knowledge of credit and debit card services, payment card network rules relating to chargebacks, and familiarity with Regulation E, and best practices of the same. This role will be instrumental in our pursuit of accurately and efficiently servicing the dispute lifecycle of our clientele including investigation of received cardholder disputes, focus efforts for merchant financial recovery where appropriate, and resolve claims in accordance with Federal Regulations and card network rules.
What you will be doing:
* Build strong rapport with internal partners by utilizing interpersonal skills, asking clarifying questions and anticipating needs.
* Conduct analysis and process dispute claims in accordance with network operating rules and federal regulations.
* Serve as subject matter expert for the chargeback lifecycle as it pertains to the company.
* Interact with our Merchants and Partners by phone and email Monitor disputed transactions for possible fraudulent activity.
* Analyze disputed transactions to determine the appropriate response and documentation requirements.
* Educate clientele and team members on processing guidelines and security measures.
* Ensure chargeback information and documentation are sent to the card brands without error.
* Must adapt to changing policies and stay current with card brand dispute guidelines to ensure all cases are handled appropriately.
* Notifies manager of trends or concerns.
* Performs other duties and assignments to support the payments team, as directed by management.
* 2 years of merchant and/or payment experience in the financial, ISO or agent environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suit with ability to learn advanced skill in these programs
* Payment Card Chargeback certifications.
* Banking, financial services, and/or merchant processing experience.
* Additional industry experience.
