Insight Global is looking for a Logistics Team Leader for a customer in the Toledo area. The Logistics Team Leader is accountable for managing the carriers and brokers for US land transport & customer shipments to deliver best-in-class service in a cost-effective manner, managing the freight spend and coordinates deliveries across all outbound locations and all lanes, and partner with procurement to establish the transportation management strategy. The ideal candidate will also support in leading and supporting analysis of complex logistics opportunities and provide recommendations to the ISC Leadership team that will be instrumental in the formation of supply chain strategies, cost savings, and continuous improvement efforts and interface with customer service, sales, warehouse network, supply chain and procurement.
- Bachelors degree in business related field, logistics, or supply chain
- 10+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain and 2+ years of experience of that within a managerial role within logistics/supply chain
- Experience with all modes of transportation, international trade compliance, and multiple distribution locations/warehouses
- Experience with TMS systems and creation of logistic dashboard with data analytics/processes
- Experience with using SAP or an ERP systems transportation modules and appropriate supply chain analytical tools
- Masters degree in business related field, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, specifically within the transportation modules
