A client of Insight Global is the largest provider of Medication Therapy Management for Payers and Pharmacies that leverages a proprietary and unified ecosystem that manages everything from dispensing to medication therapy management to patient engagement. Their solutions connect payer through the pharmacy to optimize efficiency and drive better patient outcomes. They have applications that are vital to pharmacies, patients, healthcare providers, and pharmaceutical companies to work in unison for maximized patient engagement and success. They are also the largest provider of software systems within the independent and community pharmacy space.
They are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer that will Engineers need to be able to work across the tech stack (front-end and back-end); must be strong with both.
* Java, Angular JS (JavaScript Framework React, View, etc.), PostgreSQL and SQL, Kotlin
* A fundamental knowledge of cloud (AWS) is also important
* The product that this team specializes in one of our platforms called Comprehensive Medical Review (CMR) -- This is an internal application that is utilized by a team of our employees to reach out to patients of payers (Insurance companies) to they review their medications.
* This team collects all of the data and builds software that determines which patients are qualified for CMR services. This software will flag the patients that are eligible for CMR services and provide a platform for our internal team who will be contacting these patients to discuss their medication regimen, and offer things like mail order prescriptions, generic alternatives, and discount programs.
* The team is comprised of 1 Tech Lead and 3 Full-Stack Engineers. This team does not have a UX designer.
* They have a roadmap for future state and projects.
* This is an Agile team with a Scrum Master/People Manager.
* This program has been in place for a while, so the team focuses on enhancements and modernization.
* The Tech Lead is responsible for all of the design.
