Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Remote SAP Functional Lead to join the SAP team for one of our larger retail clients. The Sr. SAP Business Analyst works with business users to identify business requirements, recommend process improvements, design solutions to meet requirements, configure SAP Systems based on functional requirements, and facilitates system enhancements and upgrades.
* Acts as the liaison between technology teams and business units.
* Facilitates the capturing of business and system requirements and translates requirements into design deliverables.
* Performs configuration of the SAP ERP Systems (IS-Oil and IS-Retail) in the areas of SAP MM, IM, WM, Purchasing, LIV, P2P (Procure to Pay)
* Ensures the SAP application's integration and functionality is clearly articulated; provides expert advice in determining a best practice approach in meeting the business requirements.
* Develops functional and technical specs for SAP ABAP Developers.
* Owns and manages the functional requirements, design solution, test cases, and testing of the test cases through all phases of the project life cycle.
* Provides training, documentation, and subject matter expertise to end users.
* Identifies, analyzes, and responds to project risks.
* Completes work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
Required Skills & Experience
* 8+ years of experience with SAP modules: WM, MM, SD, FI/CO
* Experience writing functional and technical specification documents
* Hands-on experience as a functional lead in SAP
* Experience configuring SAP MM or WM modules
* Experience with SAP Hana S/4 Retail
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Retail Industry Experience
* Ability to read and debug ABAP
* Experience working with Sales & Distribution (SD)
* Experience working with FI/CO
