Engineering team manages engineering tools used by global GE Aerospace engineers during the avionics and engines development lifecycle. Contractor will perform the deployment, configuration and support of SEAL tools with a focus on DOORS. Contractor will plan and execute updates to current support processes. Internally developed scripts and Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) tools are in the scope.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and configure tools.
* Perform tool upgrade.
* Perform tool migration.
* Perform database migration and verification.
* Create and maintain application implementation, configuration and integration documents.
* Create and maintain test plan, test cases and test reports document.
* Perform tool testing and system integration testing.
* Evaluate current support processes. Plan for updating and improving the support process. Execute the plan within the required timeframe.
* Provide technical, Admin and tool support including troubleshooting with Help Desk, network staff, server staff, database staff, license management staff, users and vendors, and license issues.
* Create and maintain tool implementation support and account administration documents for L2 and L3.
* Train L2/L3 admin/tool support staff.
* Create and maintain software installation and tool instructions documentation for users.
Maintain software configuration management.
5-7 years of experience working with IBM DOORS.
Knowledge of building and maintaining functional test automations (preferably with Robot Framework tool)
Strong communication skills
Scrum Master experience would be beneficial
