Job Description
An employer in the Cincinnati, Ohio area is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner for a direct-hire, hybrid opportunity. The client is a provider of outsourced, personalized healthcare service offerings, primarily contact centers, supporting health systems, hospitals, physicians/specialty practices, health insurers and more.
The HR Business Partner is a highly skilled HR professional trained to assist with almost any HR related issue; owning strategic HR initiatives while also being equipped and ready to handle escalated or reactive employee situation. They will be the right-hand man or woman for the VP of HR, assisting in all things HR. This includes, but is not limited to:
Employment Verifications, Payroll-related tasks, Handling new-hire orientation, Separations with the company, Unemployment hearings/claims, I-9 audits, Writing policy and updating the employee handbook, Compensation conversations, Understanding and explaining FMLA, and of course, assisting with Recruiting as necessary.
The role is a hybrid role with 2 days on-site at the client's Cincinnati, Ohio location.
Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years' in Human Resources/Recruiting
1-2 years' experience specifically as a HR Business Partner
Proven ability to coordinate amongst other departments and have both welcoming and tough conversations
Experience writing a handbook, updating policy
Office 365
SHRM-CP
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Paycom as an HRIS
Experience with CompAnalyst for job description creation/management
