The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is seeking a highly motivated and highly talented Data Analyst to analyze and interpret advanced manufacturing process data to improve efficiency and offer solutions for increased productivity. They have an influx of upcoming projects, and their customers are requesting monthly data driven reporting moving forward. Most of the dashboards are built, so this analyst will primarily focus on testing them. The rest of their time will be spent extracting and compiling data, as well as working with the engineers and technicians to talk through process improvements on how data is gathered, organized, and utilized.
* BS degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Management Information Systems, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in data analytics.
* Ability to identify, collect, analyze, and report performance metrics data to internal management and external clients.
* Ability to determine key performance indicators in current manufacturing processes.
* Demonstrated exceptional proficiency with MS Excel.
* Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis.
* Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations.
* Capability to identify actionable recommendations for enhancing efficiency and productivity.
* Strong work ethic as a self-starting team player.
* Established analytical and problem-solving skills.
* 5+ years of experience in data analytics.
* Proven experience in developing, implementing and maintaining an analytics system.
* Demonstrated exceptional proficiency with Power BI and SQL
