An employer in the Cincinnati, OH area is seeking a PACS Administrator for a direct hire opportunity. This person will be joining the PACS team of an Application Solution Center supporting one of the larger health systems in the Cincinnati area. This person will have 5 or so peers that are all focused on supporting PACS systems. They will mainly be dealing with tickets, incidents, application requests, as well as project based work. They also will be working hand in hand with radiologists for integrated testing. There will be a on-call commitment every 4th or 5th week where they will be responsible for remote resolution of issues but also receive a $300 bonus that week. This position will be mainly remote but have onsite expectations twice a week so candidates must be within 2 hours of Cincinnati and okay with the weekly onsite requirements. Any candidate being considered must be familiar with HL7 as an integration engine and be well versed with DICOM.
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field or Associate's and comparable experience
3-5 years experience as a PACS administrator
Experience with DICOM
Familiarity with HL7 as an integration application
Within 2 hours of Cincinnati and able to commit to twice a week onsite
