A top client in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a highly motivated and organized Sourcing Analyst to join their team for a direct hire position. This individual will play a key role in supporting the sourcing and category management strategies, ensuring that they drive effective and profitable outcomes for the business. -Developing and executing strategic sourcing plans to ensure the supply of products is aligned with the company's needs.
-Negotiating contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
-Managing vendor relationships to ensure a smooth supply chain operation.
-Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs and align sourcing strategies accordingly.
-Analyzing supply chain data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
-Managing multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
-Offering creative solutions to challenges that arise in the sourcing process.
-Communicating effectively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to facilitate collaboration and information sharing.
This is a hybrid position that includes on-site work in downtown Cincinnati on Monday's and Tuesdays, with remote work on W, Th, and F.
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Economics or related field
· 2 years of experience in a sourcing, category management, or related role focusing on manufacturing, packaging, or materials.
· Experience in analyzing data, drawing insights, and developing recommendations within a sourcing or procurement team
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and similar analytical tools
