A large financial organization is seeking a ETL Data Engineer for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This position must be onsite in their Madisonville location 3-4x/week. This individual will be working with the agile squad to design and develop the solution in Snowflake. They will be helping with data sourcing, data movement, data integration and ETL.
Additionally, the person in this role will help to create scalable and reusable solutions for gathering, collecting, storing, processing, and serving data on both small and very large (i.e. Big Data) scales--including on-premise and cloud-based data platforms.
Must be able to understand data sources and consumption for the entire organization to improve efficiency, consistency and provide complete and accurate data for application consumption and reporting. Helping to take data from a SQL database into a centralized database and add/write reporting layers.
