Job Description
An employer is looking for a Remote Sr. Network Security Engineer -- Zscaler for a direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will be specializing in the design, implementation and support of zero-trust access security solutions utilizing Zscaler technology platform. They will be supporting a large FinTech company as a dedicated resource. The team recently went through a Blue Coat to Zscaler migration/ transition and the role will involve a lot of policy design and implantation with Zscaler.
* Responsible for building, testing, and implementing network security solutions within the organization's IT network (On Prem & Cloud).
* Maintain a thorough understanding of complex network and IT systems staying up to date with the latest security standards and authentication protocols.
* Design, deploy and support Zscaler platform components - (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC), Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX), V-ZENS and P-ZENS) to meet business needs.
* Identify requirements, design, document, and implement scalable enterprise-level zero-trust security solutions utilizing various Zscaler platform solutions.
* Responsible for creating and maintaining ZIA proxy policies like URL filtering, Malware and file control for users.
* Administer and maintain Zscaler PAC files and supporting services according to application requirements.
* Act as subject matter expert in troubleshooting network access issues providing technical leadership on outage bridges for high priority incidents.
* Work with the Zscaler vendor to resolve complex issues and understand product roadmap and features.
* Document security solutions development and maintain as-built drawings and diagrams.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years enterprise-level network security engineering experience specializing in network access management; focused on Zscaler platform and solutions.
Zscaler Technologies -- (Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Zscaler Client Connector (ZCC), Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX), V-ZENS and P-ZENS)
Demonstrated understanding of Zero Trust administration and architecture
Advanced understanding of network access control in a multi-tiered application traffic flow and globally load-balanced enterprise environment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Preferred candidates possess industry related or Zscaler certification: CISSP or ZCCA, ZCCP, ZCTA
Understanding / working experience with Agile Methodology
