A well-known Government supporting company in the Dayton OH area is seeking a Software Researcher. This person will be a part of a team working alongside the government customer to help explore different theoretical situations/scenarios and assisting in the publishing of papers for further research regarding autonomy methods and verifications. This work will be 50/50 split between the theoretical side and the software development assisting with algorithms and the testing of these algorithms. The goal is for this published work to be used to build off it as time goes on and to uncover some crucial pieces for the air force and the future of their work.
- Bachelors and 3+ or PHD and 1+ years of experience within the research environment
- 3+ years experience working within the software realm (C++, Java, python, Ada/Spark, Rust, Matlab/simulink, Git, Visual Studio )
- Strong mathematical knowledge ( knowledge of sets, relations, functions, predicate logic, proofs, probability and logic)
- Ability to obtain a clearance
