An employer is seeking a Network Administrator in the Cincinnati, OH area. This individual will serve as a member of the Telecommunications Infrastructure team and will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining the enterprise data, voice, and wireless networks. They will be a part of a team of three LAN engineers serving as a service escalation point for any malfunction in the networks that cannot be handled by the Tier 1 support team. They will also assist with service request fulfillment, firewall protection using Palo Alto, DNS requests, IP requests, configurations of Cisco switches, etc.
2-5 years of experience working to support a network
Extensive experience with local area networks (LAN)
Extensive experience with various CISCO products (9300 series, some 3850 series)
CCNA Certification (very strongly preferred)
CCNP or any other network certifications
