A bank is seeking a Software QA Tester to join a team to upgrade one of their larger financial applications.
The project team has been formed to execute the upgrade of the existing architecture and develop enhancements to modernize the application. The internal project team is composed of 3 Software Developers, Project Manager, Business Analyst and Accounting experts. They will collaborate with the team along with internal business users. Management envisions the project scope to include, at a minimum, the following elements and activities:

30% manual
* Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
* Creates and maintains automated test cases, executes test suites, reviews and diagnoses reported bugs, and ensures overall system quality prior to a customer release.
* Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
* Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the project team.
* Works with the software engineering teams and business stakeholders to derive testing requirements throughout the development cycle.
* Designs regression test suites.
* Writes/scripts the applicable regression tests cases and executes them at various points during and after project Go-Live to ensure that recent developments haven't broken previously-working functionality.
* Works closely with software engineers to create software artifacts including test plans, test cases, test procedures and test reports.
* Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems. All required work will be managed on an Azure DevOps (AZDO) board dedicated to this project and following the FHLB's established work management process
* 5+ years of experience writing programs/scripts to fully automate testing of multi-tier applications based on Microsoft technologies including:
* MS Test
* Selenium (C#)
* Specflow
* MS SQL Server databases
* 5+ years of experience designing, documenting, and executing test plans and test cases
* Azure DevOps (or Jira) experience
* Test Driven Development and Agile experience
* Financial/Banking Industry Experience
* Strong experience identifying critical functionality for inclusion in a regression test suite in accordance with the test plan
