* Work with Client Relations, Pre-construction Project Managers & Engineering to take early stage concept "napkin sketches" to a biddable set of construction documents.
* Apply MEP and 3D design principles and practices to develop project/facility models and prepare design plans, details, and computations
* Apply Construction & Building design principles and practices to develop greenfield new build civil layouts, building elevations, building layout schematics
* Organize and utilize 2D and 3D CAD to prepare designs
* Maintain excellent communication with sales team, clients, and project managers at all phases of the project to ensure expectations are being met
* Troubleshoot problems at both content and model levels
* Consult with engineers, architects, builders/contractors to discuss plans and compliance with various codes
* Research and understand regulatory compliance requirements for assigned projects
* Generate bills of material and update internal spreadsheets
* Attend client meetings either via phone, web meeting or face to face with leadership support where needed
* Interact with engineers to translate specifications and requests into drawings
* Attend weekly sales meetings to report on projects
* Associates Degree in CAD Technology, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (Required)
* AutoCAD Designer, CAD Support, CAD Drawing: 3 years (Preferred)
* REVIT experience: 3 years - MEP Version
* 2D and 3D drawings: 3 years
* 3D Models: 3 years
- willingness to travel 1-2 times a month (paid for by company)
