An employer is looking for a solid technology Project Manager resource to lead their retail based kiosk installation projects.
The PM will work with our Technology Teams, 3rd-party vendors, store-level installation vendors and others to deliver retail based kiosk installation. Key Responsibilities include:
* Create and track schedules, budget, risks and issues
* Daily project progress communication and follow-up with stakeholders at multiple levels are absolutely expected.
* Establish and update project plans with actual and forecasts and manage deviations from plan.
* Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented and vigorously pursued to deliver the final product.
* Provide leadership to workstream lead and stakeholders. Apply conflict resolution skills to resolve project issues daily.
* Manage project risk, develop mitigation plans, and escalate decisions and unresolved issues on a daily basis.
* Managing Contract and Statement of Work processing through legal reviews and signatures is expected.
* Weekly status reporting in addition to daily progress updates.
* Work with peers to develop and drive goals, define technical specifications and detailed implementation plans for project.
* Effectively apply skills to impact project decisions.
* Focus on the benefits to be realized and the outcomes to be achieved.
* Provide coordination of complex planning activities and optimize the use of resources (human and material).
* Provide for an integration of outcomes with on-going business operations.
* Track project's contributions toward the organizations' overall benefits and work to ensure the ultimate success and acceptance of the project.
* Maintain continuous alignment of project scope with strategic business objectives and make recommendations to modify the project/program to enhance effectiveness toward the business result or strategic intent.
* 7+ Years as an Infrastructure Project Manager at an Enterprise level company
* Retail store-level infrastructure installation project management experience working with 3rd-party installers (200+ stores)
* Daily communication, alignment and follow-up spanning business, technology and 3rd-party vendors are absolutely expected.
* Ability to travel to store locations as necessary
