Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join their team in the Canal Fulton, OH area. The Project Manager - Solar / Battery Storage / EV is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of products for renewable energy projects. The project manager will be responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of the product from the planning stage through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering unparalleled service. Provides overall project management support for several small to medium projects or supporting senior project management. This job will be working at our Canal Fulton, OH facility OR fully remote with travel requirements up to 25%.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide initial client contact to assess scope of work, schedule, and resources necessary to successfully complete a project.
2. Prepare a complete estimate for selected project with a detailed review of plans, specifications and bid form.
3. Plan and organize a project under the directions of a Senior Project Manager, General Manager, or Operations Manager.
4. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policies.
5. Supervise the preparation of all budgets, change orders, and contractual changes on the project. Negotiate all change orders on the project.
6. Monitor manufacturing activities in conjunction with Fabrication manager, Integration Manager, General Manager, and Logistics Manager to ensure project is being built per the specs, schedule, and within budget.
7. Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines, and under supervision.
8. Supervise the preparation of any and all change quotations for presentation to the prime client. Negotiate all change quotations to a conclusion.
9. Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or General Manager.
10. Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company's interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with the client.
11. Review any documentation prepared by Integration Team, QAQC Team, and Third Party Reviews.
12. Represent the company in project meetings by facilitating and/or taking meeting minutes.
13. Verify vendor and sub-contractor progress by reviewing work completed.

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Finance, Engineering, or related fields
* Minimum 3 years experience in project management (Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience)
* Experience managing utility scale or C&I projects in the renewables industry (solar or energy storage)
* Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.);
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
* Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude
* Effective oral and written communication skills as required for the position
* Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
* Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others
* Proficient in AutoCAD, DWG Trueview, or ability to learn program.
* Proficient in reviewing electrical and structural drawings.
