Job Description
Insight Global is looking to for an EDI Analystfor one of our largest clients located in Cleveland, Ohio. The EDI Analyst is part of the Enterprise Application EDI Development and Support Team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in multiple EDI Transformation and Communication standards.
Other Notes:
* The ideal candidate will be responsible for development, support and enhancements related to the sending and receiving of electronic data between Cliffs Steel Inc. and its customers and suppliers.
* Communication with our company's customers and vendors to determine requirements and design for new EDI requests.
* Monitoring and investigating existing EDI transmissions and responding to alerts from automated processes
* Responding to support requests from internal and external customers for troubleshooting
* The company utilizes several different tools to satisfy this requirement which the ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in:
OpenText BizManager
IBM Sterling InFlight
SQL Query language tools
Excel, Notepad++, Remedy Force
ANSI X12 Standards focus on 856, 863, 810, 830, 870, 404, 824, 850, 867, 861, 862 and others
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Haves:
* Bachelor's degree
* 5 years of experience developing and supporting Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) communications specific to steel manufacturing companies using SFTP, AS1, AS2, WebService, DMD, VAN, API
* 5 years of experience working with data mapping to X12, EDIFACT, HTML, IDOC, CSV, XML
* 5 years of experience working with OpenText BizManager
* 5 years of experience working with IBM Sterling VAN, InFlight and mapping tools
* 5 years of experience reading, writing, and interpreting EDI technical specifications specific to steel manufacturing requirements and other documentation
