Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Remote Data Loss Prevention Specialist to join one of our largest financial clients based in the Cincinnati, OH area. This role will allow someone to sit remotely but must work EST hours. The engagement will be a contract supporting a large project that will be expected to go on until September 30th, 2024. The project will be working to consolidate data from multiple sources and different software. This individual will be responsible for writing, creating, tuning, testing, and implementing DLP policies.
Other responsibilities include:
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including IT teams, legal, compliance, and auditors, to ensure alignment with data security and privacy requirements
* Designing and implementing Data Loss Prevention strategies, policies, and procedures to safeguard sensitive data across the organization
* for implementing and maintaining effective data protection solution and processes, monitoring data flows, implementing technology to detect potential data breaches, and implementing appropriate preventive measures
* Conduct regular assessments of data handling processes, identify vulnerabilities, and propose security enhancements to mitigate risk
* Maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, incident reports, and configuration details, to support audit and compliance activities
Required Skills & Experience
* Min of 3+ years of experience within Data loss prevention (DLP)
* Experience writing, creating, tuning, and testing DLP policies
* Experience with 3 or more of the following DLP systems: Symantec/Broadcom, ZScaler, Proofpoint, Microsoft Purview, or Endpoint
SOFT SKILLS:
* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once and to follow through to meet or beat project deadlines
* Ability to work collaboratively and build consensus amongst cross-functional groups and demonstrate sound business judgment even in ambiguous or delicate situations
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Banking industry experience
* Bachelor's Degree or higher education
* Industry Standard Certifications such as, but not limited to: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network +, CompTIA Security +, ISC2 CISSP, and EWS
