Secret Operations Research Analyst (Hybrid)

A client in the Dayton, OH area is looking for a Secret Operations Research Analyst to join their team. This candidate's primary responsibility will be to help design and analyze models/simulated experiments of new or existing systems. These systems will be analyzed for performance, conceptual and mission-related data to make informed, data-driven recommendations to military leadership. The role of the ORSA is to be hands on in analysis. It is important for all candidates to come from a hands-on background of statistical analysis from an operational context, considering the parameters of the operation's environmental and mission-related risks/concerns. Any hands-on USAF mission-set experience like C3, battle management, or Air Base Defense would be greatly preferred.

- STEM Bachelors Degree(Science, Technology, Engineering or Math)

- Secret Clearance (will be read on to SCI program)

- 3+ years of experience utilizing data analysis techniques, like optimization or value-added thinking, to solve complex problems at a mission, operational, or campaign level and provide analytical findings to leadership for decision making purposes.

- Experience using statistical analysis tools like Matlab/Python/R to analyze model/simulation or mission-level data gathered through AFSIM, Experiments, Studies and/or Surveys

- STEM Masters Degree (emphasis on Engineering or Math)

- Operational experience as a fighter or bomber pilot

- Air Force mission set experience (C3, battle management, flight operations, air base defense, electrical takeoff & landing)

- Air Base Defense experience -- analyzing threat option data from adversaries
