Data Scientist

A logistics company in the Cincinnati, OH area is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team on a permanent basis. This individual will be responsible for building and implementing Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models to help with the company's price prediction capabilities. They will perform training, testing, and validation to fine tune the models and ensure they are staying on the cutting edge of price prediction. The ideal candidate will be able to translate complex business issues into sound ML/Data Science solutions and be able to communicate data findings to non-technical stakeholders.

- Bachelors degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, or a

similar field

- 3+ years of experience in a data science role developing machine learning

algorithms

- 3+ years of AI modeling experience

- Strong programming skills in Python or R

- Experience in Gradient Boosting Machines, Bayesian Optimization, and

Time Series Cross Validation

- Logistics or E-Commerce industry experience
