Software Support Technician - Ohio

A large electrical company is looking to hire a Software Support Technician for their Columbus, OH location. This person will be supporting the Digital Services team with validating equipment, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of software. This team is responsible for supporting current customers with equipment and maintaining a long-term relationship. This person needs to have knowledge and experience troubleshooting software applications, as well as hardware configuration experience. Travel is required for this role and will be up to 70%. A company car and credit card will be provided for travel.

2-3 years of software support experience

Onsite experience with troubleshooting and maintaining software applications

Strong communication skills - ability to keep stakeholders informed and build client relationships

Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

Comfortable with 70-90% travel around the Columbus, OH area

Experience with software management (SCADA, HMI, PLC, or BMS)

Background or knowledge in the electrical field

Military experience
