A client of Insight Global is seeking a Business Development Sales Representative to help increase revenue and create opportunity in the Solar/Renewables market. The ideal candidate will have experience selling renewables and solar at the utility or C&I scale and have proven experience of creating new business opportunities. This position will require 20-25% travel nationwide and must be able to attend a minimum of three trade shows per year.
- 2-3+ years experience in sales and business development
- Experience in the renewables industry at the utility or commercial and industrial (C&I) level
- Willingness and ability to travel nationwide for trade shows and travel up to 2 times per month nationwide to visit customers
- Great solar knowledge and understands the building blocks of solar projects
- Hustler mentality
- Willingness to cold call 100+ people per week
- Independent and self-sufficient learner
- Experience working for an OEM or packaging company
