Job Description

Ensures that the company has access to safe and effective pharmaceutical and control substance products for our customers while protecting against fraud, deception and unsafe practices in the distribution, handling and use of these products. Under the direction of the Regulatory and Compliance Supervisor, ensures that processes are maintained and that the company is compliant with all federal and state laws on all products distributed. Will collaborate with Operations, Purchasing, Credit, Sales, and Marketing to represent regulatory compliance strategies, policies, and procedures in order to ensure compliance; escalates to management when appropriate. Responsible for communicating with both internal and external customers. The Regulatory Compliance Analyst I will work on cross-functional teams and support regulatory strategies in meetings as an active member.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Maintains current knowledge base for existing and emerging regulations, standards, or guidance documents

* Assists with the preparation of additional information or responses as requested by regulatory agencies

* Analyzes product data and advises or provides recommendation for reportability

* Organizes information and documentation /systems to ensure completeness and ease of use

* Participates in internal and external audits as appropriate

* Conducts regulatory training for internal and external customers as appropriate

* Provides metric data in areas of responsibilities/task

* Accountable to duties in compliance with established business requirements and SOPs

* Performs additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

* Proficent computer skills

* Multitasking

* AS400 or IBM or Salesforce background

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Pharmacy background
