Job Description
An employer is looking for a Behavioral Analytics Product Manager for a remote, direct-hire opportunity. The client is an enterprise grocery store chain, and the Product Manager will partner closely with analysts, implementation specialists, and data engineers to deliver tools, training and documentation that enable business users to glean insights and make data-driven decisions. This person will serve as the primary liaison to create and communicate the Digital Analytics & Enterprise BI roadmap to customers, senior stakeholders, and partner teams.
This opening is for an experienced Product Manager who is passionate about enabling teams to maximize the value of their data. This role will report to the Group Product Manager for Data & Analytics Platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as Product Lead for Digital Analytics & Enterprise BI
Create and drive vision for analytics product, including tools (Adobe Analytics & Power BI), training, and processes to empower users to maximize the value of their data
Meet with customer teams to define use cases, and analytics product requirements
Lead coordination with technical partner teams on shared objective and key results to deliver end-user value
Prioritize roadmap, including new capabilities and enhancements that will save time, reduce cost and / or unlock new business value
Serve as thought leader to showcase best practices for leveraging analytics tools to glean insights and drive decision-making
Lead efforts that build trust in data and increase use of data across the enterprise; must have experience influencing a more data-driven culture at scale
Serve as primary liaison with customers to proactively build trust in data and analytics capabilities
Drive increase adoption of analytics in product-centric ways of working and advocating for prioritization of analytics in development and defect resolution
Lead development and execution of product roadmap, including delivery on quarterly objectives and key results
Manage product profit & loss and all timetables to ensure consistent on-time, on-budget results
Manage all aspects of product through product lifecycle
Manage support within the respective area as well as occasionally provide on call support
Work directly and indirectly with dependent teams within Kroger and potentially vendors and third parties to ensure execution of deliverables
Create, maintain and communicate product catalog and technology roadmaps, including near-term delivery and 3-5-year product evolution, to engage stakeholders across the organization and commercial market
Identify, measure and improve key product catalog metrics to enhance the customer experience, and create a compelling, relevant product vision using web metrics, customer loyalty/insights, customer feedback/research and internal operational metrics
Set criteria for minimum viable product to increase the speed/frequency with which enhancements and new capabilities are delivered
Lead and motivate a technology project team, while maintaining and building positive relationships and partnerships
Provide cost estimates for proposed projects independently or through collaboration with subject matter experts
Travel when needed to support the product initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years software development, product management or project management experience
5+ years of experience bringing customer-facing products to market
Experience in a product owner/manager role owning a Data platform
Experience with iterative product development (Agile)
Experience with behavioral analytics reporting and analytics reporting tools (ex. Power BI, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
Proven experience using data to influence product development and strategic business decisions
Excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with behavioral analytics reporting at scale (scaling enablement tools or capabilities within a large enterprise)
Experience supporting 50+ application teams
Product Management experience within a multi-channel retailer
