An employer is looking for a Embedded Systems Engineer in the Dayton OH area supporting multiple efforts for the Air Force. This person will be assisting different services applications specifically focusing on updating the technologies for them. This prototype system will include data collection, user interface, system health, data storage, distributive implementation and network security. Other applications include developing custom sensor interface systems for manufacturing and remote sensing use-cases where size, weight and power must be minimized to accommodate human-carry or unmanned aerial system considerations. This role will be mostly hands on work designing and troubleshooting schematics and layouts for these systems but other responsibilities consist of documentation and collaborating with the team on the analysis side.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related field
-2+ years working within an embedded environment either windows or linux ( prefers both but if he had to pick one he would pick Linux)
-Experience designing/troubleshooting, hands on work (circuit schematics, microcontrollers, real time operating systems etc)
-Ability to obtain a clearance
